Reluctant to welcome fall? You’re not the only one! Despite the likelihood that this year’s fabulous summer heat will persist through September, the very mention of said month invites us to swap our flip-flips & sun hats for riding boots & pumpkin spiced beverages (yay for pumpkin everything, btw).
As most of you know, the hubs and I are expectingour first baby! Our due date is in August, which for months has seemed ages away — but now, as I’m posting August’s wallpapers, this baby business is getting pretty real!
July, you sneaky sneaky summer month! You’ve caught me by surprise, I must say!
This month’s wallpapers are coming to you a little late. It just goes to show how quickly the days can fly by. And if you’re not on top of them – Woosh! They’re gonna pass right by you! But summer months are always like that, don’t you think?
Happy February friends! We’ve made it through January (phew!) and now it’s time to snuggle into our Hallmark month of romance XO. I love Valentines day even though my husband and I usually opt for homemade dinner, and never buy each other gifts. I love that there is a holiday were we get to focus on what love means to us, and we get to think a little more deeply about how we share love with our nearest and dearest!
Here comes a new year people! Can you believe it? Sayonara 2015 – just like that.Time sure flies, and that’s why it’s so important to reflect on your year gone by, to notice the moments you felt most alive, and to dream up all the ways you can keep that magic flowing into the year ahead. Noticing is the thing. Becoming an observer of your state of happiness so that you can gift-yourself more of the meaningful moments you deserve in the year to come!
Well Luvlies… December is upon us – let the festive latte drinking and holiday planning begin! We’ve had an unusually warm November this year (not complaining) but, I must say I’m the kind of girl who wishes for a very white Christmas every year! Nothing beats the crunch of snow beneath your boots, or the glitter of freshly fallen snow under the street lamps at night.
This one’s coming a little late friends – but better late than never! And since this month’s watercolour inspired calendar features poppies, I’m pleased to be sharing it with you in time for Remembrance Day.
Ahhh summer. Time to explore the city by foot, to eat outside as often as you can, and to experiment with this season’s trending apparel (rompers get a pass, but I’ll skip the crop tops thank you). Adult onesies aside, summertime is just plain good for the soul – And theres nothing better than finding yourself in the middle of a perfect summer moment while suddenly being filled with gratitude for it.
Well friends, we’re officially half way through 2015 – Time flies! And to be honest, I usually have mixed feelings about this, come the 1st of July. On the one hand, summer has finally arrived, and in Canada we usually spend the better part of January – April in serious anticipation of these warmer days. Yet we also come to the realization that a new year is approaching, and we only have the two to three months ahead to fulfill a years worth of summer-time resolutions.
We’ve been a little aggressive with our weekend/holiday planning this year, and despite feeling like we’re always on-the-go, I don’t think I’ll regret it one bit. So, with July’s Free Calendar, I’m also sharing our summer bucket list below!
We are days away from the month of May, and a 3rd of the way through 2015 which seems unreal. We’re beginning to revisit the patios, rediscover picnics, and frankly remember what sunshine feels like! The Springtime is also a great time to travel, when off-season prices are still in effect and the heatwaves of summer are still at bay.
This time last year my husband, Mano and I took a two week vacation to France, starting in Paris and ending in Provence. So, not only is this month’s calendar Francophile inspired, but our posts for the month of May will be as well! Quelle joie!
