World Ballet Day 2015

Screen Shot 2015-09-29 at 12.12.39 AM

Dance is often referred to as a universal language. In my days of point shoes and top knots, dancing gave me the ability to communicate the feelings that words couldn’t describe. It is an art form which transcends intellect – it speaks to the soul.

Today, I feel incredibly blessed to live in the city which The National Ballet of Canada calls home! And this Thursday, in celebration of World Ballet Day, five renowned companies are collaborating to bring viewers all over the globe a live stream of behind-the-scenes goodies! We’ll see company classes, performance rehearsals, magical wardrobe departments, and interviews with the dancers. Visit on Oct 1st to join the live stream! Here are the companies participating, and the time of day they’ll be appearing.
